Acceptable Use Policy

This Policy forms part of the Terms of Service. It applies to everything created, uploaded, generated or distributed using DemoRiff.

Synthetic voice and likeness

These capabilities carry a specific risk of misuse, and we treat violations here as grounds for immediate termination without notice.

• Do not create a voice clone or avatar of a person without their documented consent captured through our consent workflow.
• Do not use a synthetic voice or likeness to make it appear that a person said or did something they did not.
• Do not create content depicting a public figure making statements they did not make, including as satire presented without clear labelling.
• Do not use synthetic voice to circumvent voice-based authentication.
• Do not continue to use a voice or avatar after the subject has revoked consent.

Deception and fabricated evidence

• Do not fabricate product functionality that does not exist and present it as a recording of a real product.
• Do not create demonstrations of a competitor's product that misrepresent its behaviour.
• Do not create fake testimonials, reviews, endorsements or customer footage.
• Do not impersonate an organisation, including by using its branding, domain or employee likeness without authorisation.

Unlawful and harmful content

• Content that infringes copyright, trademark, patent or trade secret rights.
• Content that harasses, threatens, defames or unlawfully discriminates against any person or group.
• Sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualises a real person without consent.
• Content promoting violence, self-harm, or the sale of illegal goods.
• Malware, phishing material, or content designed to facilitate unauthorised access to systems.

Platform abuse

• Do not attempt to circumvent usage metering, rate limits or access controls.
• Do not resell or sublicense access outside an authorised partner agreement.
• Do not use the Service to process content you do not have a lawful basis to process.
• Do not probe, scan or test the vulnerability of our systems outside our published disclosure programme.

Reporting and enforcement

Report suspected violations to abuse@demoriff.com. We investigate every report. Depending on severity we may remove content, suspend a workspace, or terminate an account. For violations involving non-consensual synthetic likeness, we act immediately on receipt of a credible report from the affected person and preserve records as required by law.
